Ioan is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in turbine design, stress analysis and project delivery. He has worked across wind and tidal energy, from concept design and system layout through to manufacture, testing, maintenance and operation.

His expertise includes linear and nonlinear analysis, fatigue, bolted joints, hydraulic systems and design optimisation. Alongside the analysis, Ioan brings valuable hands-on experience from wind turbine maintenance and quayside tidal turbine operations. He enjoys finding practical ways to make complex engineering more efficient, robust and ready for the real world.
